Neurotoxin and Filler · What You Need to Know

Natural results start with an honest conversation and a provider who actually knows the difference.

Neurotoxin and dermal filler are two of the most effective tools in aesthetic medicine. They are also two of the most misunderstood and most misused. Before you book anything, here is what we think every client should actually know.

Our Approach

Most women are not asking to look done. They are asking to look like themselves, only rested.

There is a version of neurotoxin and filler that looks overdone. Frozen. Heavy. Puffed in a way that draws attention to itself rather than away from it. Most women who come to us are not asking for that. They are asking to look like themselves, only more rested and refreshed. That is exactly the kind of result we aim for.

Our team came to aesthetics through nursing, which means we approach injectables with a clinical mindset and a genuine respect for what these products do inside the body. We do not recommend more than we believe a face needs. If you come in asking for something we do not think is right for you, we will tell you honestly.

That approach occasionally costs us a sale. It has never cost us a client’s trust.

Neurotoxin

What it actually is, how it works, and what the differences between products mean for you.

Neurotoxin is a purified protein derived from botulinum toxin that temporarily blocks the nerve signals responsible for muscle contraction. Used well, the result looks rested and natural. The face still moves. Expression is intact. Lines are softened without the frozen, flat quality that comes from overtreatment or poor placement.

Jeuveau

prabotulinumtoxinA

A modern neurotoxin manufactured using a Hi-Pure technology purification process that produces a highly refined product. FDA-approved for cosmetic use and dosed comparably to other standard neurotoxins. Jeuveau has shown strong efficacy for upper-face treatment with consistent onset, reliable duration, and a clean result. It is often a well-tolerated choice for clients who are new to neurotoxin and one of the products our team reaches for most consistently, precisely because its behaviour in the tissue is predictable and its results are reproducible.

Daxxify

daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm

One of the most clinically significant developments in neurotoxin in years, and the first formulated with a proprietary peptide excipient rather than human serum albumin. That difference gives Daxxify its most notable distinction: duration. In clinical studies, Daxxify demonstrated a median duration of approximately six months, with a meaningful proportion of subjects maintaining results at nine months, compared with three to four months for most products. A genuinely compelling option for clients who want fewer appointments or metabolise neurotoxin quickly.

Xeomin

incobotulinumtoxinA

Sometimes called a naked neurotoxin because it contains only the purified active molecule, stripped of the accessory proteins present in other formulations. For most clients, Xeomin performs comparably in onset, result, and duration. It becomes particularly relevant for clients who have received neurotoxin regularly over many years and noticed results becoming less consistent or shorter-lasting, which can indicate neutralising antibodies to accessory proteins. Because Xeomin lacks those proteins, it can be an option worth exploring in those circumstances.

How neurotoxin is measured and what units mean

Neurotoxin is administered and priced by unit. The number of units needed depends on the strength of the muscles being treated, the depth of the lines, and the degree of relaxation you want. These vary meaningfully from person to person.

Any provider quoting a flat unit count for a treatment area without assessing your specific face first is working from a protocol rather than from an actual assessment of you. Our team takes the time to assess how your muscles move before making any unit recommendation.

Treatment areas

Neurotoxin is most commonly used in the upper face: the forehead, the glabella between the brows, and the crow’s feet at the outer corners of the eyes. Depending on your anatomy and concerns it may also be appropriate for a brow lift, lip lines, chin dimpling, neck bands, jaw slimming, or teeth clenching.

How often

Most clients maintain results with appointments every 10 to 12 weeks. Individual metabolism, the areas treated, and the product used all affect duration.

What to expect

Onset is typically three to five days with full effect at two weeks. Minor bruising or swelling at injection sites can occasionally occur and resolves quickly. A follow-up appointment at two weeks is available for any touch-up adjustments.

Pricing

Neurotoxin is priced per unit. Your unit recommendation and total pricing are discussed at your appointment based on your treatment areas, goals, and the product used. Beauty Booster 2.0 VIP members receive up to 64 units of neurotoxin every 90 days included in their membership, with additional units available at $10 per unit.

Dermal Filler

Volume, structure, and knowing when enough is enough.

The face loses volume gradually and often across multiple areas simultaneously. Good filler work restores balance rather than adding volume for its own sake. The goal is always a face that looks healthy and natural. Not a face that looks filled.

RHA Collection

Resilient hyaluronic acid

Developed with a manufacturing approach designed to preserve the natural structure of hyaluronic acid chains more closely than standard HA manufacturing, producing a filler that is more pliable and adaptive to facial movement. The face makes thousands of micro-expressions every day, and traditional HA fillers can look unnatural in high-mobility areas because they resist that movement. RHA fillers are engineered to move with the face rather than against it, making them particularly well suited to the lips, the perioral region, and areas in constant motion. Some formulations have demonstrated durability beyond 15 months in clinical studies.

Evolysse

Hyaluronic acid

Made using a distinct cross-linking technology that produces a smooth, cohesive gel with strong tissue integration. Designed for natural-looking correction with a soft, comfortable feel in the tissue, which matters in areas where overly firm fillers can create visible irregularities. Evolysse is particularly well suited to areas where a refined, sculpted result is the priority: lips where softness and natural movement matter, tear troughs where a gentle blendable product reduces the risk of lumpiness in thin-skinned areas, and finer correction work where precision and subtlety are the goal.

Radiesse

Calcium hydroxylapatite

A biostimulatory filler whose primary function is to stimulate the body’s own collagen production over time rather than directly replacing volume. The gel provides immediate structural support and lift; as the body gradually absorbs it, the microspheres remain and stimulate new collagen in the surrounding tissue. Results often look better at six months than at two weeks. Best suited to cheeks, jawline, chin, hands, and temples. Not suited to the lips or tear troughs, and not reversible the way HA fillers are, which requires a more deliberate conversation before treatment. Radiesse is the biostimulatory filler used in the Nonsurgical Collagen Facelift program.

Both RHA and Evolysse are reversible with hyaluronidase, which is a meaningful clinical safety consideration.

How our team chooses which filler to use

We do not have a house filler that we use everywhere. We have a range of options chosen specifically because they are clinically distinct from one another and suited to different goals. RHA for dynamic areas and clients who want longevity with natural movement. Evolysse for precision work and delicate areas where softness and blendability matter most. Radiesse for clients who want structural improvement and long-term collagen stimulation.

Common treatment areas

Cheeks and midface to restore lift and volume. Tear troughs to address hollowing and under-eye darkness. Nasolabial folds and marionette lines to soften deepened creases. Lips for definition, volume, or symmetry. Jawline and chin for structure and contour. Temples to address hollowing that affects the overall shape and balance of the face.

What to expect

Some swelling and occasional bruising in the days following filler treatment is normal. Final results are typically visible once swelling resolves, usually within one to two weeks. Full aftercare instructions are provided at every appointment.

Pricing

Filler is priced per syringe. Pricing varies by product and is discussed at your appointment. Beauty Booster 2.0 VIP members receive $100 off per syringe at every appointment.

A Note on Combination Treatment

Better together, in the right sequence.

Neurotoxin and filler are often most effective when used together because they address different aspects of facial aging simultaneously. Neurotoxin quiets the dynamic movement that deepens lines over time. Filler restores the volume and structural support that movement and age have taken away. Used in the right combination and the right sequence, they complement each other in a way that neither one can achieve alone.

This is exactly why both are included in the Nonsurgical Collagen Facelift program. If you are interested in both treatments, the team assesses the full picture at your consultation and recommends a sequence and combination that makes sense for your face and your goals.

Membership

If neurotoxin is already part of your routine, make it work harder.

The Beauty Booster 2.0 VIP Membership structures that investment in a way that saves you money and adds meaningful value across your full treatment plan. Up to 64 units every 90 days are included in the monthly membership alongside $100 off every syringe of filler, skincare discounts, and savings across all programs.
